I recommended three families for the SOS Thanksgiving Food Drive. One a single mom struggling with the additional expense of a son in Community College this year. Another a woman in her early 60's who has moved into her elderly parents' home in order to care for them, but this affects her income. And the other~ family of five (two adults and three children) who simply would be burdened by the expense of a holiday meal this Thanksgiving as they wonder how to manage Christmas gifts for their kids. I had the enormous gift of personally delivering these meals today. And these families in diverse circumstances have been so blessed by the mission of SOS, the student members, and community support!
